Coach Ishita
Baseball and fitness coach, Newcastle
- 🇦🇺 Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
- Newcastle Community Club
- 2007 to 2025
- English, Hindi, Spanish
For 18 years I ran the baseball program at Newcastle Community Club in Newcastle. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
More about Coach Ishita
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Ishita: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
