I've coached chess at Tiruchirappalli Football Club since 1978. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
More about Coach Harini
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Harini: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
