Coach Girish
Youth dance coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Dwarka, Delhi, India
- 1986 to 2002
- English, Gujarati
I coached dance at Dwarka Youth Club from 1986 to 2002. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Coach Girish
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Girish: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
