I've coached softball at Saint-Denis Jacaranda Football Club since 2011. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Coach Florian: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
