Coach Faith

Youth softball coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Maple Ridge Community Club
  • Since 2009
  • English
For 17 years I've run the softball program at Maple Ridge Community Club in Kinondoni. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Coach Faith: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
