Coach Emilia
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇦🇺 Perth, Western Australia, Australia
- Perth Westbrook Football Club
- 2004 to 2021
- English
I coached chess at Perth Westbrook Football Club from 2004 to 2021. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
