Coach Eliana
Coached rugby for 25 years in Sacramento
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- Sacramento Athletic Club
- 1979 to 2004
- English
For 25 years I ran the rugby program at Sacramento Athletic Club in Sacramento. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Eliana
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Coach Eliana: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Victoria.
