Coach Dimitra
Basketball coach, Athens Heritage Athletic Club
- 🇬🇷 Athens, Attica, Greece
- Athens Heritage Athletic Club
- Since 2015
- English, Greek
For eleven years I've run the basketball program at Athens Heritage Athletic Club in Athens. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Coach Dimitra: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the last day before the summer holidays. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Södertälje.
