Coach Devi
Coached chess for nine years in Lucknow
- 🇮🇳 Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Riverside Community Club
- 2016 to 2025
- English
I coached chess at Riverside Community Club from 2016 to 2025. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Coach Devi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
