Coach Danish
Coached chess for 17 years in Karachi
- 🇵🇰 Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan
- Karachi Athletic Club
- 2007 to 2024
- English, Punjabi
For 17 years I ran the chess program at Karachi Athletic Club in Karachi. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Danish
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Danish: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
