Coach Daniel

Youth swimming coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico
  • San Cristóbal de las Casas Youth Club
  • Since 1988
  • Spanish
I've coached swimming at San Cristóbal de las Casas Youth Club since 1988. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

More about Coach Daniel

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Daniel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
