Coach Danica
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇵🇭 Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines
- Davao City Swimming Club
- Since 1999
- English, Filipino
I've coached rugby at Davao City Swimming Club since 1999. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Coach Danica
If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
What gifts mean to Coach Danica: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
