I've coached badminton at Newcastle upon Tyne Boxing Gym since 1987. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
More about Coach Colton
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Colton: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
