I coached badminton at Bamboo Youth Club from 1990 to 2014. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
What gifts mean to Coach Carmen: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
