Coach Candra
Coached chess for 32 years in Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- 1979 to 2011
- English, French
I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 700 kids fall in love with the game.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Coach Candra: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
