Coach Byaruhanga

Coached cycling for 17 years in Dar es Salaam

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • 1990 to 2007
  • English, Swahili
I coached cycling at Dar es Salaam Sports Club from 1990 to 2007. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

More about Coach Byaruhanga

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Byaruhanga: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
