I've coached athletics at Mukono Stonebridge Swimming Club since 1979. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Coach Bakari
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
