Coach Andile

Youth hockey coach and mentor

  • 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa

  • Since 1997
  • English
For 29 years I've run the hockey program at Pretoria Community Club in Pretoria. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer. I'm still learning every day.

You coached me in 2005. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from San Miguel de Tucumán.
