Coach Andi
Chess coach, Surakarta Sports Club
- 🇮🇩 Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia
- Surakarta Sports Club
- Since 1985
- English
For 41 years I've run the chess program at Surakarta Sports Club in Surakarta. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Andi
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Andi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
