I'm a cross country coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,090 kids fall in love with the game.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Ana
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
