Coach Amber
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Rochester, New York, United States
- Rochester Swimming Club
- Since 1998
- English
For 28 years I've run the chess program at Rochester Swimming Club in Rochester. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
What gifts mean to Coach Amber: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
