Chess coach, Lethbridge Swimming Club

For 36 years I've run the chess program at Lethbridge Swimming Club in Lethbridge. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Aarav
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Aarav: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Cardiff.
