Chukwuemeka Uchenna Bankole
Graphic design and woodcarving artist
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Print Workshop
- Since 1992
- English, Hausa
I work mostly in graphic design, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1992 at Lagos Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I try to remember everyone's name. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Chukwuemeka: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
