Chioma Nwachukwu
Painter, potter and teacher at Old Port Harcourt Gallery
- 🇳🇬 Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria
- Old Port Harcourt Gallery
- Since 2011
- English, Hausa
I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 2011 at Old Port Harcourt Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I answer every message, eventually. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Chioma
I've had 5 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Chioma: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
