Chidinma Omolara Lawal
Woodcarving artist in Ikeja
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Old Sakura Art Collective
- Since 1994
- English, Igbo
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1994 at Old Sakura Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I like to keep things simple and honest. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
