Chiamaka Aliyu
Painter, potter and teacher at Epe Studio
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Epe Studio
- Since 2016
- English, Igbo, French
I work mostly in textiles, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 2016 at Epe Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Epe Studio, which keeps me honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
