16 years teaching environmental science in Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Boys' School
- 1988 to 2003
- English
For 15 years I was the environmental science teacher at Colombo Boys' School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 650 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Chathurika
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Chathurika: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
