Chantel L. Maharaj
Coached netball for 28 years in Stellenbosch
- 🇿🇦 Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa
- Lakeview Football Club
- 1993 to 2021
- English, Afrikaans
I coached netball at Lakeview Football Club from 1993 to 2021. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Chantel: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
