Chaminda Seneviratne
Coached wrestling for nine years in Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Good Shepherd Swimming Club
- 2009 to 2018
- English, Sinhala
I coached wrestling at Colombo Good Shepherd Swimming Club from 2009 to 2018. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Chaminda
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Chaminda: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
