Ceren Eda Öztürk
French teacher at Good Shepherd High School, 1978 to 2016
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Good Shepherd High School
- 1978 to 2016
- English, French
I taught French at Good Shepherd High School in Üsküdar from 1978 to 2016. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ceren
If you were in my Grade 4 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Ceren: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me French in 1992 at Good Shepherd High School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected. Truly.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
