Carter D. Tucker

Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
  • Little Brookfield Shop
  • Since 2002
  • English
My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 2002 in San Jose and I'm still there most mornings. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

More about Carter

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Carter: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
