My trade is plumbing. I opened my own shop in 1998 in Fort Worth and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Carolina
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Carolina: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
