Carmen Stan
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇷🇴 Cluj-Napoca, Cluj, Romania
- The Cluj-Napoca Works
- Since 1987
- English, Romanian
I'm a thatching specialist. If you live around Cluj-Napoca, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
More about Carmen
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Carmen: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
