Carlos K. Ortiz
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇨🇴 Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia
- The Bucaramanga Repairs
- Since 1987
- English
I've worked in thatching since 1987. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,560 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.
More about Carlos
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
