Carlos D. Vega
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Little Los Angeles Trades Guild
- 2014 to 2025
- English, Spanish
I've worked in carpentry from 2014 to 2025. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 290 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Carlos
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
