I coached chess at Angeles Summit Youth Club from 1987 to 2009. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Carlo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 1988. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Alcalá de Henares.
