Candra Bayu Salim

Youth rowing coach and mentor

  • 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
  • Jakarta Swimming Club
  • 1993 to 2007
  • English, Indonesian
I'm a rowing coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 760 kids fall in love with the game. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. I'm still learning every day.

More about Candra

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
