Bukola Ronke Bankole
Self-taught calligraphy artist
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- 1996 to 2009
- English
I'm a calligraphy artist based in Lagos. I've been making things from 1996 to 2009 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I run most mornings.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Bukola
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Bukola: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
