Bruno K. Ortiz
Softball and fitness coach, San Sebastián
- 🇪🇸 San Sebastián, Basque Country, Spain
- 1978 to 2004
- English, Spanish
I coached softball at Atlas Youth Club from 1978 to 2004. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Bruno
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Bruno: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
