Bilal Tariq Metwally
Self-taught ceramics artist
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Little Lakeview Art Collective
- Since 2012
- English, Arabic
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 2012 at Little Lakeview Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Lakeview Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Bilal
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Bilal: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
