I coached gymnastics at Aurangabad Hope Sports Club from 1995 to 2003. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
