Axel Ruiz
Boxing and fitness coach, Nottingham
- 🇬🇧 Nottingham, England, United Kingdom
- Gateway Youth Club
- 2017 to 2025
- English
I coached boxing at Gateway Youth Club from 2017 to 2025. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Axel
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
