I've worked in blacksmithing since 1983. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,590 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
