Avery Washington
Tailoring for nine years in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Works
- Since 2017
- English
My trade is tailoring. I opened my own shop in 2017 in Oakland and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I make terrible puns.
More about Avery
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Avery: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
