Tiling, done properly
- 🇰🇪 Naivasha, Nakuru, Kenya
- Little Valley View Workshop
- 1999 to 2021
- English, Swahili
I've worked in tiling from 1999 to 2021. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 920 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Atim
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Atim: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
