Youth rowing coach and mentor

I've coached rowing at Mysuru Highland Football Club since 1978. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ashok
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Ashok: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
