I coached badminton at Lviv Youth Club from 1985 to 2018. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Artem
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Artem: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
