I've coached athletics at Manchester Boxing Gym since 1996. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
More about Ariana
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Ariana: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
