Apio Beatrice Njoroge

Self-taught woodcarving artist

  • 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
  • Old Kasarani Art Collective
  • 2012 to 2024
  • English, Swahili
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 2012 at Old Kasarani Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I make terrible puns.

More about Apio

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
