Anyango Hellen Mrema
Bass player and teacher in Dar es Salaam
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Rosewood Orchestra
- Since 2011
- English, Swahili
I play bass and brass band. I started in 2011 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Anyango
I write my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Anyango: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
